Biography
Lisa Bryant chose to leave a successful medical career in
brain-injury rehabilitation to passionately pursue environmental
work in marine preservation. Her environmental education
experience eventually led to a career in the natural health
field. In 2004, she opened a full-time practice in the Bowen
Therapeutic Technique in Elk Grove, California and added
Holistic Nutrition Education services in 2007.
Lisa obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical
Psychology and Nutrition Science from Marymount University in
Arlington, Virginia and holds a Master’s degree in
Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Maryland. She
is accredited by The Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia as an
Advanced Bowenwork Practitioner and recently completed
certification requirements in Holistic Nutrition at Bauman
College, Berkeley, California.
Currently, Lisa continues to receive tremendous
inspiration from the natural world, with continued interest and
involvement in conservation, social justice and public health
issues. She is an avid international traveler and world culture
aficionado, preferring exploration off the beaten track. Lisa’s
brother Michael and his special challenges have enormously
influenced her life’s journey. |
